I am originally from Nepal, and have a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu University in Nepal. I completed my master’s degree in Informatics from the University of Oslo in 2015. I love sewing, knitting, and swimming in my free time. I also love traveling to new places.
I first joined eSmart Systems in March 2017 as a QA intern. After 6 months, I continued at eSmart as a full-time employee. Currently, I work as a QA Engineer in the Utility team.
My job is to make sure that the product is properly tested and is of good quality before it is released to production. This includes performing software testing, creating and managing test cases, and documenting defects.

At eSmart Systems, we create innovative solutions and I get the opportunity to be involved in interesting projects. As a Quality engineer, I have to make sure that the product is of adequate quality. This responsibility drives me to develop new skills and to be continuously learning.
I have known about eSmart Systems since its establishment. When I was looking for a job to begin my career in Norway after my masters, eSmart was already in a good position to lead innovation. The IT solutions it was developing for the emerging technologies, including smart grid and IoT systems, was quite fascinating to me. Therefore, eSmart was the top choice on my list. I joined eSmart Systems as a QA intern. During the internship, I not only learned about the technology, but also obtained some domain knowledge in the field of smart grid. The market that eSmart is working with is relatively new and there is a lot to learn. Thus, I wanted to continue to be a part of eSmart Systems.
If you like to work towards shaping the future through innovative technologies and would like to work with outstanding colleagues, eSmart Systems is perfect for you!
